I had one on my previous Yaris and don't have any on my new one... I can say it does not make much of a difference.
So if it looks what you are after, the go for the bar you like the most. If you are not that interested in looks... then perhaps you could see into other suspension mods that would give you more improvement for your buck.

I figured I would get the rear bar first, and if I get the urge to make the front match I'll pick the front bar up ( even though it might not work like the rear)

Exactly, the simple fact that it would help resist movement between the strut mounts would be enough of a benefit for me. It might not exactly help the car
HANDLE better, but theoretically it will help
STIFFEN the strut mounts ( oh yeah it looks good too

). A front
sway bar, from my understanding will promote understeer (which is pretty bad already since we're FWD)
