Just got back from dinner. St. Petersburg turns into a ghost town after 7:00. I guess that's what happens in a retirement city.

Florida. St. Petersburg, Russia would be cool but I doubt that I could get to the Internet from my hotel room. They're not quite that progressive in Europe yet.

I don't doubt their networks. It's just their hotels, as of last year, have not warmed up to the concept of free high speed internet for business clients. I had to walk three blocks to an Internet cafe to do email. Three blocks near the Termini train station in Rome meant picking up a slice of porcini mushroom pizza on the way there and a gelato on the way back.

I don't think I could do the same trip today. As often as I check YW nowadays, all those trips to the Internet cafe would totally wreck my waistline.
