You could, they need painted anyways. And you're changing the tires, perfect time to do it.

I probably would not do pink...

does anyone know how much it might cost for me to have a shop paint them so they look half-way decent? I'd have them do it when they're changing out the tires.

Trust me, I wouldn't spend any money on these particular rims, unless you're going to have them sandblast them too. The yellow powdercoat that is underneath the black has a few chips that you can see.

If you're for sure going to change the tires, I can paint them for you. Last time I sanded but didn't primer, this time I could primer so the paint will stick and not chip.

And don't get me wrong, they're a nice set of rims for the price.

But to have them powdercoated at a shop, you may as well buy brand new ones.

Powdercoating costs about 40-50 bucks a wheel. Small price to pay for a custom look IMO.

I may be selling her my old rims, that aren't in the greatest shape, but are still decent rims. The rims+tires for $200 bucks. Powdercoating is not worth it on these.

I know, I just want you to know what you're getting yourself into. They're not new wheels, but they are nice. I've never had anyone notice the knicks in them, but they are there.

Honestly, for $200, they're a steal, and a hell of a lot cooler than steelies.

Charles has seen them, I even pointed out the yellow paint showing through to him. You remember them Chuck?

I know, get to leave early. =D

Lisa, just sleep on it. I do have someone local that wants to look at them, but I'd rather see them go to you.
