With hopes that I won't get in trouble.....some of you may want to check out Honda-tech.com. Yes I've referred you off forum. They have a bunch of caravans organized from as far away as Wisconsin, and maybe Minessota, and definitely Illinois and the upper north east. You may be able to get some ideas on checkpoints there. And you might find some additional drivers to roll with.
Matter of fact here's the link. Mods please accept my apologies if I've screwed up. If some are coming from the midwest or from up north these may be the best and most fun ways to get to IA. If these don't help it'll at least inspire you all on how you may want to plan based on the people traveling and the places you need to swing through.
