Public Speaking....

competed..sort of like the debate team, but not a team. Well, we had a team but you competed individually against people in the same catagory (poetry, prose, informative speech, persuasive speech, storytelling...there were others...I forget..) and then your scores were combined with your team mates for an overall score.

Medals were won...meets were weekly during the season all over the state. Oh, and yes....I lettered in public speaking...
