as a toyota employee. and a maint mechanic...the 'kit' from the factory assumes you have the other parts necessary to install the clutch. the clutch includes the clutch and the pressure plate cuz those are the only parts covered under warranty unless the maint mech says the throw out bearing is bad.

so.....the kit will only include parts under warranty....and thats the clutch and pressure plate. the mechanic should have an installation tool in the parts bin to install this clutch so it also wont be included.

throw out bearing is a diff part because if the clutch is used right it will last 200k miles. that means no resting foot on clutch pedal. not holding clutch in at red lights or stop signs...and def not red-lining with the clutch held in. the TOB is a temp bearing and is only designed for light use with light RPM usage.

I knew about holding the clutch in but I very lightly rest my foot on the clutch sometimes in traffic

every clutch job i got i bought the throw out bearing regardless

your spending money on the clutch why would you cheap out on that

im gearing up for a clutch swap on the MR2, after 78K miles the stock is finally giving out

centerforce + fidanza flywheel = awesome

i dont know how long my stock yaris clutch will last

im guessing a long time?
