Are there alternatives to Scangauge?

I was reading a little bit about Scangauge II since many of you have it here,
but are there others that can plug-n-play?

There are several others but they are a lot more expensive.

The PLX Kiwi MPG looks pretty cool and its pretty cheap. I've been looking into the Bully Dog Watchdog for my Tundra, since I have a base model I don't have a tach (like the damn Yaris lol) and it's a scan tool too.

Wow. Some of them sound impressive. After checking out the websites, prices ranged from $299 to $549! I did like the PLX device since it was still gauge-pod style, but the "cheaper" alternative was the Bully Dog Watchdog - though that website was for truck applications.
Are there any others?

The PLX Kiwi MPG is only $89, and IMO looks to be the equivalent of the scangauge. It would be awesome if G-Tech meters were code readers as well.
here's the PLX:

here's the PLX:
I looked into this unit last week ,and the only thing that stopped me from buying it
was there total disrespect to overseas customers IE i emailed them and followed up
with a phone call about the $75.00US charge for shipping ,
there response was sorry but we don't control the website prices
i mean $75.00 for something no bigger than a credit card
the item would be sent via UPS in a US$25.Courior bag , so why am i haveing to
pay $75.00 response P&P
buy a Scangauge it does a hell of a lot more and is far better .

The Kiwi MPG looks nice. Since the Auto Meter Ecogauge is non-existent yet, I may consider this. I don't really like the way it looks though. Anybody have one?

^ unfortunately, no application for the Yaris. And $400 is a little (a lot) beyond my range.
Looking for one that will at least have RPM and MPG.

It says it works in the Gen.1 Xb with the 1NZ-FE, so it might work in our cars since we have the same engine.

APEX'i I-Moni

I just found this on APEX'i's site, it doesn't erase CEL's though.

only 4 functions? sux. Looks like Scangauge is still the best bang for the buck, huh?
