How about just bending the tabs down on the bracket? That would gain about 5 cm.

Thinking of doing that before cutting.

I checked that, its not bolted in. Its welded in. But its not hard hard metal. So going to try bending the brackets first then, cutting if that doesn't work.

Thanks. That would be ideal solution having the 4 channel bridged on the Focals and Mono on the iDMax.

Thanks everybody. Will try bending, if that doesn't work. Bring on the angle grinder.!! My 2 week old vitz is going to get the AXE! :)
