Cable throttle:

Drive by wire:
-Smooth acceleration.
-There is also noticeable lag when you press on the gas peddle because the computer has to tell the ECU how much the throttle has to open; not as quick as good 'ole cable throttle.
-Take a look at the gas peddle on a Yaris. Notice anything? There is a box to which a peddle sits in, connected to some electronics which lead to the ECU.
-When you drive over some speed bumps and you press on the gas peddle a little bit, the car wouldn't jerk or move violently in the event of sudden acceleration. This is meant for driving comfort.

THanks for your reply it is something that I didn't consider.
So if I consider to upgrade to cable throttle what parts exactly I need and how can I know if the ecu supports this feature?
