Different Color Rims

I was thinking of having my rims painted, and doing the driver side wheels black, and passenger white. Anyone think its a stupid idea?

I'd say 50% of me would say to do it because of the funny factor and eyebrow raising, but the other 50% is undecided, just not a total don't do it. If it's what you want, do it. Which wheels do you have, are they stock?

I saw this on a drift car, of course it was a high hp sr 20 240sx with all these deacls on it. it looked good on that car, don't know how it would look like on a stock car

DO it. The rims are yours, you're gonna pay for the job, and if you don't like it paint them again..... simple solution

I was hoping you'd have something like that...I say paint em and see. If you are willing to paint them, you'd be willing to get new ones or pain them again, so go for it.

Creative idea but Paint them with some cheap watercolor paint before you pay good money for a well done job, that way if you dont like just hose off the paint. To me black rims only look good on a black car, any other colored car with black rims reminds me of a tourist walking down the beach in shorts, black socks, and flip flops. Also once people notice the color difference they might assume you are a referee or some other kind of sports official.

I got one for you. Right now I have hubcaps on my car. One side is the factory Yaris ones and the other side has two that came from my Scion xB. Its funny because a guy at the drive thru looked down one day and asked if it was a new Scion model.

DO IT! It's your car your style your decision. that's what makes us modder love our cars so much cause we get to do what we want to our cars. Doesn't matter if anyone else thinks its stupid. I mean look at all those cars in japan that have huge wings and gundam looking fronts. People here would think it's retarded but they dont care. In my opinion its original and AWESOME!. DO IT!!!!

To me, black rims only look good on black or white cars.

As far as painting your wheels different colors, I once passed that idea by some friends and it got shot down. quickly. So I say forget them! Do it and do it big... people should respect the spirit behind it. Plus, its not forever if you decide they look silly. Good luck!

Lambos with black rims look good in white, black, silver, yellow, orange, and really, if you saw a red one with black rims, you're not gonna say, ah, that's ugly. (and for the record, I think the rims on the lambo you posted are kinda pointless... lets spend 300k on a supercar and then leave it with just enough rubber to keep up with a yaris on turns)

I've seen plenty of white, black, silver, mm, blue, and red yarii that look amazing with black rims. White rims on the other hand, only look good on some... but its your car and if you think it will look good, or if you just wanna do it for shits and giggles, I say go for it. You can't possibly get more flack then the iron cross spinners
