so, just because it has a physical compression ratio of 13:1 it does not mean that the pistons/rods are subjected to typical 13:1 compression forces. in fact, the prius only revs to 5000rpm, so you'd want to take into account these factors.

it's not a 'SLAP IN SOME PISTONS AND RODS FROM A PRIUS YO!' solution.
