Mainly the 「右の反対者」

As it's written, it translates to something like "Opponents on the right".
右 (みぎ) means right, as in this is my right hand

Or is he trying to say "The right opponents"; right meaning correct, proper, etc.?

Covering up the garden - we're getting frost tonight. Also see some wormwood coming up - finally - but see signs of "damp off". Bummer. New seeds were ordered, ones that are of a different genetic strain. Here's to strength through diversity.
