Fought crime without the use of a gun

Hello all. I was at the local pharmacy smoking a cigarette waiting for the acne prescription to be filled. A man came out with a cart full of beer and energy drinks. He chunked them into the bed of the truck (the loud thud was what caught my attention), entered the vehicle, went into reverse, and ran over a curb. I thought to myself, "wow, such a wreckless driver". Then two employees ran out and said "hey, he stole something!" Another employee said, "He took some beer, he is in that truck". The truck entered the street, reached the stop light and turned left. I flicked the cigarette and got into my car as I saw that he immediately made an illegal u-turn to go the opposite way. By the time I reached the street, he was already halfway to the next stoplight leaving about 10 cars behind him. I used my fancy, ninja-like car with an impressive 1.5 Liter mammoth engine (sported with VVT-i technology) and zipped in between cars to catch up with the truck but still maintaining distance and invisibility (due to the small stature, I hid behind a Suburban). He made right, I made a right. He floored it, I cruised. He jumped, I jived. Then, finally, the moment. I caught up to him to make the kill. I grabbed my pen and wrote down his license plate number and did a ninja-like U-turn. I returned to the pharmacy where a police officer arrived. He called it in, they arrived at his house, and made the arrest. I ID'ed him when they brought him and his accomplice back to the scene of the crime and I left with a bag of acne cream and shaving balm. All in a days work.

Like the saying goes, "the pen is mightier than the sword" and my dad's favorite "get your head out of your ***"

Good Job!! It is so easy to do nothing. It's nice to see people get involved and clean up their little corner of the universe.

I don't know. It gave me such a sense of accomplishment, I might just fix that wobbling chair in the dinning room.

were you driving recklessly to catch up to him? would have been ironic if you were pulled over.

YarisMan to the rescue! JK LOL

Naw but what you did was very noble. There aren't too many people around with balls like that

..The pharmacy should've let you keep the drinks instead

Yeah...um...my balls would've shrunk if he stopped and got out of truck to confront me. But, by then I would've just drove around him and make a zippy getaway.

Not wrecklessly. I did use my blinkers and only went 5 over the limit. That is very common in this area. The only time I do remember breaking a law was the initial speed up where I was going 10-15 over. But cruised down once I got a visual.

Thats why I love Texas. But then again, I would've needed to pay for a lawyer which costs more than a couple cases of beer.
