Just got home from the vet. Someone SHOT my cat with a pellet gun. Luckily they think he will be fine, but who does such a thing and why. He stays in the house most of the time, but does like to go out for an hour or two and survey the yard. He has been neutered so he seldom leaves the yard. He is a very sweet, loving kitty. I can not believe this.

I assumed he was attacked by something when I saw the blood on his neck. I was shocked when they told me this. It is a perfectly round hole and the pellet is still in his neck, you can feel it between your fingers under the skin. Luckily they did not hit anything vital.

I am so pissed. If I find out who did this I will be calling the police and pressing charges. I plan to ask the little kids in the neighborhood, I am sure they have heard the older kids talking.

Attached a picture of Charlie and Jezzie. Charlie is the darker, bigger one on top. He's the one that got shot. Doesn't he look mean?

Sorry, Had to vent.

Charley has orange eyes, Jezzie's are more greenish.

Thanks, they seem to think he will be fine. He will just have a pellet in his neck forever. Guess he better not go through too many metal detectors. Luckily He doesn't fly much.
