Hey orangepeels,

I'm in the same boat-I'm now so glued to the instantaneous mpg I hardly ever use the tach-but I like knowing it's there :)

Roxy1,

I ignored the ecograph a bit and did the best I could to get a tach reading at 60 and 70 today. Best I could tell in a heavy rain and traffic (AT in 4th with converter locked up) was 2970 @ 70 and about 2450 @ 60. I'll try again under better conditions when I get a chance. The tach should be dead on if I do my job correctly as it gets its rpm info right from the obd 2.

Now I see why ridge riding is such a popular hypermiling technique-tried it out today in the rain. This stuff is addicting.
