the brake lights have their own fuse and another one for the illumination. My brake lights didn't work but everything else did. I replaced the brake fuse and it fixed the problem. I also could not shift out of park until the fuse was replaced. I missed the part about just the passenger side

Great safety feature. All too many morons on the roads with no brake lights. I guess they don't have $5 and 5 minutes install time to save themselves from a wipelash.

Happened to me only after a couple of weeks of buying my car. I was trippin out cause I thought it was something worse. The dealership said "they just changed a fuse", but didnt say which one and as to why I couldnt shift out of park. I figured it was probably a safety issue.

anyways...yeah, so check your fuses man @_@
