The 1.8 Liter motor and longer front end is a step away from the reasons I bought my Yaris 1.5 liter 3 door liftback. I love the short front end. Makes it easy to see around obstructions at intersections. The shortness of the 3 door Yaris makes it one of the easiest cars to park. I find the 1.5 liter motor has lots of power. I would like to have the Yaris with the 1.0 liter motor, that gets even better fuel economy than the 1.5 liter motor. I would rather get 60 mpg highway, with the 1.0 liter motor, than 35 mpg highway, with the 1.5 liter motor.

And the 1.8L dual vvt-i engine is the first of the new Toyota small engine generation. More powerful, torquier, and as green and economical as the older 1nz-fe. ... oh and packed with a bunch of extrassss... yeah I can see why you don't like it. The ONLY downside i have find on the TS is the price tag.... |
