Tow hooks are cosmetic? People think they look nice?

nankoo, no worries and I am sorry that it broke on you.

CDavis, some are meant for show.
And yes, some people think they look cool displayed on the car.

Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.

Yes sir, my friend picked up one of those tow hooks for his tC because he thought they look cool (he's loving it by the way and thanks you for the awesome customer service!); he keeps trying to get me to buy one for my Yaris...I'm not a huge tow hook fan

other than the fact that is cosmetic it should hold it strength cause there are smaller bolts in our cars and carry a big load or torque on tightening them or messing with them... and plus really look at the size of it would it be possible to pull out 1.5 tons out of trouble??? i would just stick to BENEN INDUSTRIES tow hooks or so...

Why would anyone buy a cosmetic tow hook ? Wait why would anyone sell a cosmetic tow hook! This would get a big laugh at any off road truck forum if they knew Yaris owners are installing cosmetic tow hooks

Sorry to hear about your loss and its nice that Micro Image replaced it, even though he did not have to, especially since he had a warning it was a cosmetic part. Im beginning to see why he's a prefered vendor.
