I drove at 183 whp for 9 months, and now I'm at about 210 -- trans is doing just fine.

But thanks for the sarcasm, anyway.... I'd probably ask you if you were feeling all right if you stopped doing it.

AEM makes this sweet water/methanol set up, with progressive nozzles and a super easy control box... you should get it!

Good luck!

I asked you this because I heard that stock trans don't hold much bhp (been told near 150-170bhp) although that depends how you drive the car. If you are willing to drag race it frequently on high revs at about 300Bhp than that is another story.

Parmas, where did you "hear" this? I see this kind of information posted all the time, and it's never traceable to real life experience. Tamago, on the other hand, has actually blown transmissions, so his experience does count as data.

Last year when I was in good contact with Jess of TurbineTech during the approach to buy the engine from him, he told me that to be safe it's better to invest on a 4age transmission. I don't know if he knows how much the yaris trans holds but I would prefer be in the safe side.

I think turboecho2005 could tell you more on this...

Wait, so you're saying that the 4AGE bolts up to the 1NZ?
