There are actually very few members running ET35 with 205 rubber. Certainly, rubbing is an issue with that fitment, particularly on a lowered vehicle. Indeed, we've had uncountable threads and posts addressing exactly this fitment/rubbing issue.

"Sloppy American" fitment refers to the one-size-fits-all mentality that is all too common here in the States, where the wheel rim and/or tyre sidewall bulges out past the fender. In Japan, wheel and tyre fitment is much more than a simple mechanical application; it is an art.

For most of our members, the standard fitment recommendations detailed in the "Official YARIS Wheel and Tire Guide" will serve them best and make for a clean, trouble-free fitment.

Of course, for those YW members heavily into suspension mods, more radical wheel and tyre applications are always possible and we all enjoy reading about them and checking out the photos.
