you don't even have to jack the engine up. the yaris lower rear mount only serves as a dogbone, it does not support any weight iirc

I actually did remove the side motor mount just to see if I could stiffen it a little bit, because the thing moves like 10 feet (at least it looks like it does when I rev the engine). It was a little hard to get the bottom bolt out, as I needed two different extensions on my socket, and had to jack the motor up to hold it in place. In the end, I decided not to do anything because I read THIS article and decided to buy the goop to stick in the mount to help make it more solid. I bought the goop, but I drive almost everyday, so no bones there, with the 24 hour dring period, but since I don't work on Sunday, I might just do it then, we will see.
