To CTScott :
I did check the extra switch with the meter before doing the swap and they were ok (0 resistance when unpressed, high value (1) when pressed)... I did the whole setup again without anymore luck... I just dont get it... If I take the reading at the red and black wire heres what I get when the whole setup is plugged and car is on : - 0 ohms when nothing pressed (in an earlier post, you said I should get a high value, does that mean that my ground is still bad!?) - 649 ohms when on/off is pressed - 0 ohms when set is pressed In my understanding, in my circuit, pin40 is always grounded when the switches are untouched and is grounded with a load when I press on/off... The set switch has absolutely no effect. I dont understand what I'm doing wrong... Last edited by Vince87; 07-22-2009 at 09:03 PM. |
