I think 350 is on the dangerous side, but that's from what I've read, I haven't tried it myself! (PeterPoop got a little melting at a lower temp, for example)

Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.

Yes. You gotta experiment with a lower temp if you haven't done this before in your oven. Everyone told me 225-230 preheat for 10 min,and then leave the headlights in there with it still at 220-225. I preheated at 225 and turned it down to 220 and left it in there for only 4 min, and one of my headlights started to melt in the back! This is a pic where I had to epoxy some plastic to "patch" the melted areas. All ovens are different!

when i paint the headlights of my old tiburon i set the oven at 150 and wait about 6 to 7 minutes... dont open so easy but never melt
