This is what I've done so far.

From Here I don't know what the rest of the wires do. If you look at the harness thingy I'm holding up. It's different colors. Mostly red, white, black. The tutorials on this site have green / blue wires so this is what confuses me.
There's also a red wire that i don't see in other tutorials.. it looks like it goes to the positive battery ... but I'm assuming we don't need it if I can get it installed the methods you guys use.

Can someone help me or explain to me what I do with these wires?!?

What kit did you get? I will TRY and get my pictures tomorrow from my camera or cell phone, dont have anything today since I just installed windows 7. But that second relay should not be in the mix.

if you emailed me i could have sent you the instructions .
the red wire with white plug plugs into the light harness
and then into the factory wiring inside the fuse box
under the bonnet .

lights won't turn on

Okay, I finished the install and I think I have everything installed correctly... but the fog lights will not turn on. Tell me if u see anything wrong.

Connected red wires from fogs to the two red wires that goes into pin1 and pin2 slots in the bonnet.

Here's the two pins plugged into the fuse box.

Here is the red wire from the switch going into the yellow wire (pin3) in the D4 connector under the steering wheel.

Here is the yellow wire from the switch going into an 'orange wire' from the dimmer switch. The diagram of the dimmer plug looks different than from the instructions. I didn't know what color to tap into ... I think someone said orange on the forum before. Let me know if that's the right wire.

Here my Indicator on my dash says my fog lights are on when i press the switch but the fog lights don't turn on. =(

Help, please!

I have the same problem. Remove the yellow wire and let it hang not touching anything.

Now turn on your fog lights, and they should work! Also make sure the ground is connected in the engine bay for the fog lights as well, don't forget that.

I also have Garms kit, it also came completely different then what the diagram asked for, with extra parts and cables. But at the end I got it working.

I am only stuck now wondering why it is that if I connect the yellow wire to the harness behind the light dimmer, that is doesnt allow anything to work.

Let me know what happens when you un-splice that wire to test what I said.

I unspliced the yellow and it still won't turn on.

Can you take pictures of your install? How does mine compare to yours?

I wanna see how you setup he wires in the engine bay. I reconnected the ground in the engine to the negative battery. Did you end up using the white and black wire? Should i splice the black wire into the other ground wire?

I wanna know what you did here... i have the black and white wires (which came off the removed relay)... taped off and the two red wires connected to the two wires that go into pin1 and pin2.

Am I suppose to ground that second black wire?

I already have that other black wire connected to ground via battery.

Did you use only one red wire?

I think my post (telling you I would email you the latest instructions) was deleted?

the part that confuses me in the manual is that it says connect the positive wire to the white connector.

there are 2 red wires. One with a loop and one red wire that was from the removed relay. Which one is the positive wire coming from the foglights to connect to that white connector in the instructions?

Okay the relay with the 4 wires attached you through away right .
the red wire from fogs goes to pin 1& 2
the white and black wire from fogs is EARTH . HAVE YOU EARTHED YOUR LIGHTS .

to me it looks like you wired in the large 4 pin relay disconnect it and throw it away , just like the instructions i sent you send to .
