It doesn't gather dust and dirt when it's sitting that way versus the stock horizontal position. My wiper blade collects a ton of nastiness, I cringe sometimes if I have to use it since it'll spread it over the back window.

Snow/ice won't pile up on the wiper like that. I like the idea. Now, could you show us how to use a regular/replaceable auto parts store blade instead of that proprietary piece of junk? <.<
