My driver's window was taken out by a rock while my idiot lawn guy was edging. (he didn't bother to tell me about it)
DO NOT get an aftermarket replacement. It won't fit right. I had Safelite come out to replace mine. First window was almost flat and wouldn't roll down more than half way. Second one fit better, but still binds when rolling down. I thought it would get better, so I let it go... now I've paid to have it re-tinted and don't feel like screwing with it, but it's still not right. If I rolled my window down more often, I'd not be happy. Get a new glass from the dealer, or get one from salvage. Genuine Toyota glass. It's got a really compound curvature to it, nobody else is going to get it right. |
