i am thinking of getting the yellow fogs from micro image, and the surrounds from trd sparks.

i do have one question. i am no good with electrical wiring, so looking through install pictures and seeing harnesses and interior dash pieces coming apart daunts me.

can i just pop the lights in and splice them into the headlamps so they are on all the time?

The headlights are run off two separate 10A circuits (one for left, one for right). The low beams are 55W, as are the fogs, so if you stayed with standard bulbs in both, you'd be drawing 110W off each leg to run both the fog and the low beam off of those circuits. This is about 8A of the 10A capacity of the circuit, so it should be OK.

When installing the fog kit, taking the bumper off to mount the fogs is really the hardest part of the install, so if you can handle that, you really should be able to handle the small amount of wiring that occurs on the inside.

I believe H11 and H4 is just the different types of bulbs themselves that sit in the housing.

H4 is the headlight bulb HI/LOW beam, H11 is the Foglight Bulb. I just did Foglights on my car. They definitely help out, of course I changed all the bulbs too
