I love this stuff, way too much fun. I would say my Revo could go 60-70 if I did things right. I have it set for around 35 tops but it gets to top speed at around 10-15 feet. Enough torque for a standing backflip.
The white buggy, a caster fusion ex-1, i have geared for around 50 on 4s lipo, if any one knows what that means. So that would be the fastest out of the bunch. If your looking for speed the E-Revo has a good rep for speed runs. Here is a vid of one going 90. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP17Bg40cso A guy got his buggy up to 100. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkiYmnRt3jA As for expenses I would say all together you would spend around 600 for everything you need to get started assuming you buy a higher end model but you can get a Traxxas Slash 4x4 for roughly 400 and it comes with everything from the brushless ESC and motor to the newer 2.4 ghz radio. Plus a battery and charger, but its a NiMH and overnight charger, most advance to lipo batteries quickly. By the way Racerfreakxxx you had one hell of a yokomo set up. What happenned to it?
