How do you know you are putting in clean fuel? Do you test it before you put it into your tank?

you buy chevron or shell gas only.... and not look for the cheapest gas in the city. Chevron & shell cost a few cents per gallon more than most others... but are generally regarded as the best among many groups... including hypermilers.

I have never had an injector or carbon build-up issue on any vehicle i've used chevron in (same with my grandpa... and he's been driving for over 50years).... At the very least.... run chevron or shell every other tank... that way you can use the cheap stuff, and then help clean it out with the good gas with techron.

I believe all gas comes from the same tank basically. All the tanker trucks get gas at the same "rack" and only difference is the name on the truck.
