Thanks for the info....my memory is apparently not working as I posted this question again a few days ago and was reminded of this post...haven't bought a new set of tires yet, obviously, so thanks for all the info!
BTW, got a set of General Altimax for the winter...great performance even without studs. After 2 winters on Potenzas I couldn't believe the diffference! I must say that the Yaris auto trans plus low revs plus ABS plus dedicated winter tires makes for a great combination...I climbed and descended hills 4 x4's with large knobbed tires couldn't manage! With chains, could manage any mountain pass I feel certain. Thanks aagain...belatedly. |
