$63.48 per month, Allstate platinum policy, $800.00 deductible now...deductible drops $100.00 each year as a safe driving reward, plus I get some kind of cash back bonus, seems like twice a year.

course he does... and he was not a minute to late either... this thread has been resting on its laurels for too long now. Time for it to get up and going!
$72/month I think... wanna say $500 deductable, maybe $250 tho. I don't know why, but it seems to go down about $4 every 6 months... i'm over 25 (27), so I don't think it's an age thing... but maybe. |

100,000 300,000 50,000
For 2008 Honda CR-V 2008 Yaris 2004 Dodge Diesel Ram $1,300/year or $108/month for all 3 We have great credit and no recent (5 years) accidents or tickets. We use ANPAC. It pays to shop around. Depending on a persons circumstaces a new company might have cheaper rates.

Alright, I'll play along since we're with a new carrier now (we jumped ship from AIG when we learned in 2008 just how irresponsible they were with money as they became the source of a new term: too big to fail). I came to understand that we were under-insured before, so much so that we could lose our house in a single judgment. As such, even though we've dropped one vehicle to just liability we're paying more than we did with our last carrier.
I've thought about dropping coverage on my Yaris to liability only as I paid it off a while ago, but my commute over a mountain each workday on a 2 lane highway that can see over a dozen accidents in a single day during a snow storm leaves me vulnerable to getting hit by an out of control vehicle despite my driving surely and responsibly. The cost difference between minimums and the $500 deductible full coverage is only $25/month ($300/year) so I stick with it. So our actual payment for 2 vehicles is $1,170/year, or $97.50/month, with USAA.

Clean record, 54 years young, CA$113.00 per month for full coverage.
Marcus, you'll be a very frustrated Man if you choose to compare US and Canadian insurance rates. Also, in Ontario your postal code plays a big part in your cost. Bend over GTA/Golden Horseshoe drivers.

Same city (Bethlehem, PA), different zip code (postal code), 18018 vs. 18017 made a difference of like $200 over 6 months (I was with Progressive at the time). Personally, I use AAA for my insurance. Just paid my 6-month premium ($471; $78.5/mo) for full coverage/$500 deductible on my 09 Yarii. I'm 28 (29 in a couple months). Prior accidents/speeding tickets that are over 5 years old, so technically they can no longer be counted (3 years is the usual, but some go as far back as 5 years, beyond that, they can't count them, per the laws). My estimated annual mileage is about 30,000. If I drove less, I would be paying less too.
