Just to let you know the new Yaris IS already in showrooms in Europe (but not UK) with a 1.8l engine. This is the ONLY T-sport of the MK2 Yaris, there has been no 1.5 released in Europe for this generation.
punch the old Yaris T-sport had a 1.5l engine, the same as you guys have in America now. Oh, and heres some proof of the new 1.8 T-sport in the showrooms in France
