Hi there!

I'm just getting 100000 miles on my '08 yaris d4d in few days....no problems until now

Edit: yesterday the battery just said goodbye and the check engine light is in the dashboard.

I'm at 253k right now... I'm starting to wonder if I should proactively swap the alternator, fuel pump, or water pump? I have a 75 mile each way commute into town and don't want to get stranded. Car drives perfectly though!

Cosmetically my front end has been chipped all to hell by all the construction around Atlanta. I'm planning on having the front end totally repainted and using Xpel on the front. Nothing else has really taken a beating like the front... the damned main road through the city was practically a gravel for a few weeks!?!?!

110,000 miles roughly on my 06 jap made Hatchback. Pretty impressive considering mine has the 3 cylinder engine made for the Aygo in it. I really don't think Toyota designed it for being driven like its stolen every day.

Servicing, tyres, exhaust, water pump, battery and oddly enough my alternator. Its never once let me down, always done whats needed from it until i could get it to a garage. I also have a little noise that sounds like the thrust bearing might be starting to wear. But I'll wait till it gets worse to do the clutch.

I intend to drive it until it collapses into a pile of rust. If the engine blows up i will just stick a used one in.

I wish we got the funky little Aygo in the US. We don't get any of the kewl small cars.

154K on my 09 LB Clown-car. No issues other than normal service. Synthetic oil since first change, and extended drain interval (15K miles) since from 45K miles onward. No oil consumption. The 1NZ-FE is durable, and damn near bulletproof.

Just curious but did you do any used oil analysis? And what brand of oil are you using?

7500 miles in 3.5 months, I'm well on my way to join the club. I'm planning on switching to synthetic after 12,000 miles. I have to say, I love this little car!

Where's the 300k mile club? That would be pretty cool to have. If well maintained, I don't see why these cars couldn't go 350k or more.

2008 sedan - acquired in late 2009.

Had brake booster issues with it in 2011, but no other problems whatsoever since then other than a squeaky serpentine belt which was replaced last year.

Still looking for the wire harness for the head unit so I connect my OEM aux port I acquired years ago. If you have one, hook me up! I've already been shut down here but I figure it's worth a shot:

161k on 2009 sedan. Bought the car with 40k on it.

My list of troubles are few. But here they are:

1. Front suspension. The shocks were somehow worn out even though the car only had 40k on it, when we got it. Replaced those.

2. I need to replace a ball joint.

3. Belt started squealing and has been replaced. Still squeals sometimes though...

4. Center console door screws backed out. Took it apart, tightened the screws, and haven't had any trouble with it staying shut since then.

5. Headlights having to be polished out.

6. Some of the rubber door seals letting go and flopping a bit. Siliconed them back down.

Totally forgot - had my belt replaced last year and the problem has gone away. However, this YouTube video suggests it may not be your belt at all:

Forgot to mention this as well - the seal on one side (roof along top of door) has basically rotted out with just some wire there. I need to replace it - they're not expensive, I'm just a lazy dirtbag.

Anyway, right on! 161k is a lot of miles.
