Removing Power Steering/Replacing PS Rack with Manual Rack

For conversion to manual, you can simply pull the EPS fuse, but the electric motor will offer some additional resistance to turning. You could probably pull the electric motor off of the steering column to alleviate that.

Cool, thanks for the info. So if I get one of these racks it will still have electronic power steering, correct?

I was gonna get this replaced by warranty, but when I went to the dealer my warranty was out by 1 month :)....
