So since I also wanted a more flush look, as well as something less sporty looking, I picked them up. On to the pics (yeah, I know my car is really dirty, it rained outta no where).

Old rims and dead Falken's weigh in at 38.4 lbs each.

What are you doing with your old wheels?

I got them used, so they were pretty curbed already. That's the reason why I don't think I can get anything higher than $200 for them. I also have access for powdercoating for $50 for all four. I would have kept them and just repaired them, but I'm not sure if I want to put all the time and effort into it. hahaha.

They're nice rims, but the offset is only +40. Yeah, I guess spacers can solve that problem. hahahaha.

TEHxFALLEN V1.2 · 07-19-2010, 03:21 AM

If you're okay with it, wanna see if you can quote me with how much it would cost to get it powercoated a dark goldish bronze + shipping to 91303?

And what size are they?

They're 17x7. Powdercoating will be ~$50. However, they will have to be repaired and sanded prior to powdecoating. You might want to PM Clark (MiniTRD) to see if he has a source to do the labor. hahaha.

As for shipping, I entered a box dimension of 23"x8"x23" with a weight of 38.4lbs and got this:

Express Mail® [More info about Express Mail®]
Tue, Jul 20 by 3 PM $152.10
Express Mail® Hold For Pickup [More info about Express Mail® Hold For Pickup]
Tue, Jul 20 by 3 PM $152.10
Priority Mail® [More info about Priority Mail®]
2 days $38.30
Parcel Post® [More info about Parcel Post®]
5 days $22.03

That's per rim, so all four would be at least $150 for shipping, and that's if I can find a box with those dimensions.

Kaotic Lazagna · 07-19-2010, 03:53 AM

If someone can show/tell me how to dismount the tires, I'm sure shipping will be far less as the 912's weigh in around 22 lbs or something like that from what I remember.

I subtracted just 20 lbs to be safe, and this is what I got:

Express Mail® [More info about Express Mail®]
Tue, Jul 20 by 3 PM $83.50

Express Mail® Hold For Pickup [More info about Express Mail® Hold For Pickup]
Tue, Jul 20 by 3 PM $83.50

Priority Mail® [More info about Priority Mail®]
2 days $25.95

Parcel Post® [More info about Parcel Post®]
5 days $15.30
