Many people with longer hair donate it to Cancer society for children going thru Chemotherapy. They use it to make wigs for kids going thru some real scary times.......May I suggest you contact someone locally and see if it can be of help?Contact a local TV station and maybe even get a "hair drive" going. Little kids have it bad enough going thru that, but then get teased something fierce by other kids when their own hair starts falling out from the radiation. It gives them a little self respect back. Just a thought...then maybe a 6 on the top and 3 on the sides, lol

It's locks of love.

that's where I sent my hair. I used to have really long hair before. I told the hair dresser I wanted to do that, so she made 2 braids, one on each side, and then carefully cut my hair right above the elastic. So the hair I sent were in braids, tied up at each end.

She fixed the hair cut after that, of course.

Yep, I did the same thing after I retired from the military. Didn't get a haircut for over two years, then lopped it all off and sent it and a donation to Locks of Love. It needs to be at least 14" long, but it looks like you've got that and more!

Honestly, while I do miss it a little; having long hair in southcentral Texas isn't much fun. It's too hot here, and driving around in an open Jeep with it is a pain in the ass! However, it was fun to watch those pinheads in their fart-can Civics and Neons come screaming up on the Jeep thinking it was some hot chick driving it, only to see my ugly ass face with a handlebar mustache and a Custer-style goatee grinning back at them! Sometimes I would even blow them a kiss...

These days I keep it shaved down into a high-and-tight flattop, much more comfortable and less maintenance. I just have to remember to apply sunscreen up there when driving the Jeep!

Cheers! M2
