^ yeah, sometimes, it's a contest between two groups and the winner is the one that deface the most website. the goal is to be seen by most of internet users... nothing personnal to MI... but it's )#$*(&# annoying...

did you found out where's the code? 'cause at first it was looking like a spoofed DNS record...

That's true In fact I was just thinking the same thing. (although I somehow don't think someone's grandma did it )

Sit tight, the MI site may be down but you can still reach every one through here, so just relax and give them time to do what they need to do to get the site up and running again.

perhaps some may wish to sit loose...sitting tight too long can cause muscle fatigue and possible paralysis eventually...not to mention those pesky pins and needles...

Stuff like this pisses me off, there's being a hacker that is one thing and there is being a complete douchebag script kiddy. It drive me nuts on how many viruses are out there that destroy systems. I don't get it, what do these people have to prove; that they are A hole nerds?

I remember back in the day of hacking it use to all be for the thrill of just cracking the system. Now its all malicious attacks and destruction. So not cool.

It's a private joke, jumpman. (There was a guy on here a few weeks ago who said that Garm didn't have any parts for the Sedan, shouldn't call himself a supporting vendor, etc., was all bent out of shape... It's probably still on here somewhere.)

However, this looks like it was a random hack, nothing to do with anyone we know (hopefully).

I think the problem was that he was running an outdated version of vBulletin. The Google cache page shows version 4.0.3 and the latest version is 4.0.7. Since his main page of the site (index.html) redirected to the forum, he should just change the redirect to some other page for now and disable the forum.

This same person has also attacked sites that use WordPress.

Yikes! This site is running 3.8.0. Knock on plastic Yaris interior panels LOL.

The store is still up since nothing was deleted. If you want to browse it here it is
http://shop.microimageonline.com/main.sc
I'd wait until this hacking problem is resolved before ordering.

Yup, I have had to get a new debit card because a couple years back Newegg had an issue with part of their site being hacked for a few products and I purchased one of those said products. Next thing I know there were all kinds of things being purchased on NE from 12 buck stuff to 400 buck stuff.

Same here. Well, they got rid of the hacker's splash page but it's still not back to normal.

Give them a little time!
