I noticed the OP is in Florida, not much snow up there

I think it depends where you are located --the most important thing to consider IMO when deciding to buy wipers.

I still don't know to this day which is the best wipers to use for winter but I've never really tried a variety yet, only stock.

I have actually tried plenty in the winter up here in Michigan. I get my blades at cost, so it's not expensive to try. The "Winter" style blades with that massive rubber boot are NOT good in the winter. That rubber boot makes them very un-flexible. And the stocks with all the open metal frame seem to get clogged with ice. I found the best to be the style like the Bosch ION, or the Rain-X ones. They look like just a blade with a plastic block in the middle. Usually all those kind have some sort of Teflon-type blade.
