I like that you've done your research and such, at least regarding Daniel Stern. The guy's a bona fide guru for lights. Anyway, the lifespan on Osrams should last you in the neighborhood of a year if you don't drive with your lights on in the daytime. Unfortunately, lifespan is something the Osrams and Sylvania SS's are not known for.

As far as Nokya bulbs, I have 80W Yellows in my foglights since we get a lot of fog here on the Georgia coast. I've had them in since February '10 and they've been great so far. They do run a little warm, but I've been otherwise impressed so far. YMMV.

On pricing, for everyone's information.
Nokya Cosmic White H4 bulbs: $15.99 a pair. And I don't charge for shipping.
i had silverstars in my matrix in the lows and fogs

3 went out within 2 weeks of one another at about the 10month mark....

just get the nokya's if you want halogens. i ran them in my fogs pre-hid's and they're great. and you can't beat the 15.99 shipped from cali yaris

That's a good deal on Nokya. I paid $40 at a local shop.
