Another happy Tokico/Micro Image customer
Just thought i'd show off the install I did this weekend on my Yaris. Ordered Tokico Blues and Micro Image Springs a little while ago and installed them yesterday!
I was a complete suspension noob before the install and it still only took me 3 hours to complete the install. Obviously the toughest time was dealing with the front struts/shocks but the rears only took 15 minutes! As for actual, on the road, experience...I feel like it's a totally different car! I've been using Yokohama S-Types at the local auto-x and they would squeal and whine quite a bit. No such whine this time, it's surreal how planted and surefooted the car feels with the suspension upgrade! I even broke the springs in this morning with a lovely mountain drive. Overall I would rate this as a top priority upgrade for any Yaris owner interested in auto-x/just livening up the car. Enjoy some pictures! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Wait, so did you like, double-spring the rear? O.o

Haha double spring the rear? That would be pretty interesting! But no....just your ordinary setup.

awesome, glad you like them - it's a great combo for a suspension/handling upgrade.

Very nice stance. How's the ride quality now over bumps and dips?

Overall it's a great improvement on the stock suspension and unless I have 4 full grown males in the car I haven't had to worry about bottoming out or anything like that. |
