You can keep the stock wheels as long as you buy a 15" tire.
I recommend the Hankook H727's. Nice priced all-season performance tire. As for handling vs. road noise, they usually counter-act each other. Generally, more handling = wider tire (195/55/15 or 205/50/15), and less road noise = skinnier tire (stick with the 185/60/15). I'd say for what you are looking to do, I'd get a set of 185/60/15 Hankook H727. The crosswind trait is a part of the car - a rear sway bar or a set of lowering springs will help correct it. |
