busted belt w/ 40K
Yes, the belts do break! My belt snapped just today on the highway. It's a 2008 Yaris (manual) w/ almost 40K. The auto store had the belts stocked at $9 and $12.

Damn that sux..... its rare for that to happen @ that mileage......... glad u got it replaced
