no kidding!! I just filled up at $1.273/L this evening. According to Google as I write this, that's just over $5 USD per gallon.
As far as I know it isn't possible to get ethanol free gas in the Great White North either. 10% blend 87 octane in my tank.

Shell Canada sells Ethanol-free gas in their 91 octane for 149.9
Do the math, either way you're being screwed by Ethanol or Premium.

It is $0.40 more than I would pay for regular, so it is all relative.

I did put in a tank of ethanol free premium yesterday. It was $4.13/gallon. If I get significantly better mileage, >5mpg, then I may start using that in spite of the higher price.
