Hello everyone, most of you said it was leaking. Is it noticeable on the ground? What are the symptoms of a bad water pump?

I only had some waterdrops at the bottom of the pump housing.

on many toyota's, there is no noticeable drip from the W.P. Often, we only see pink residue around it rather than an active leak.

not even that bad sometimes. Often, our techs catch just a pink residue on the pump or block itself. it can be hard to spot, but better fixed sooner than later

Water Pump Replaced

I have less than 75K miles and my pump bearings started to make the worst sound ever. I thought my 2008 Yaris was falling apart.
Just bought the replacement pump for about $35 and some anti-freeze for under $6. I think that's a great deal, without the warranty.

If you have the warranty, be sure to use it as often as possible.

I have the same colour of hatchback, I like your style. I changed my waterpump in last summer at 230,000.Also did the waterpump in my old sedan. It's a good repair to do if you want to start turning wrenches. One of the first things I learned how to do other than brakes and oil changes.
