Just checked my manual and I have this section;
(m) Engine Oil Replacement Reminder Light (Except for Canada) This light acts as a reminder to replace the engine oil (blah, blah, blah)... It states when you drive 4500 miles after an oil replacement, the light will illuminate for 3 seconds and then flash for about 12 seconds after ignition key is turned to "ON". At about 5000 miles, the light will come on and stay on until reset.
