Bye bye rear wiper....

So last week I removed the rear wiper and plugged the hole with the stock rubber grommet reversed and a plastic plug inside that to keep it water tight. Put some Rain X on the rear window and I'm good to go. Bye bye eyesore, and saved about 5lbs too because the power mechanism is somewhat bulky.

I also painted the rear badge black and removed the front chrome badge, getting stealthier by the day. Soon to have tint and black lugs.

Ok yeah and FYI, a totally stripped rear works REALLY well with the Tanabe DF's, because the loss of 100lbs or so actually raises the rear up that extra half inch making it more level with the front (many complain that the DF's lower the rear too much).

Losing 5 lbs. is not worth how handy that thing is. Not to me anyway; here in S.D. the weather changes rapidly.

Same here, but I love to detail my car and that dumb thing only serves to trap dirt, make it hard to clean around, and look terrible (well I spose it helps clear the rear window too...wink).

I suppose you could go all out and remove the rear water sprayer system as well, won't be much of a weight loss, but it's not kinda redundant, right?

Yeah, but I was worried about the hole above the rear window showing. Don't need to be plugging 2 holes haha.

Black is beautiful! Let me recommend some Black Konig Feather wheels. That will finish out that beauty, mark my words dude.

You know, if you really want to clean up your rear end, you need to take off that nasty looking mat-like rear bumper protector. Then send it to me; I'll dispose of it for you.

A little spoiler action would hide that pretty well
