My understanding is that the short shift kit only shortens fore and aft movement, not side-to-side, as a "true" short shifter would. Glad you like the improvement!

Did you do the fluid too? That will further smooth out your shift feel.

The short shift kit only does fore and aft, you're right. You'd have to put another bracket on the other cable to decrease side to side movement, but I am impressed all the same.

And this is without the fluid yet as it still hasn't arrived. I am faster than UPS going through my neighborhood because the tracker said it was out for delievery at 9 this morning. They had a four hour head start, come on UPS!! Get it together!!
