Maybe it's just me, but if one spends that much for a car I would expect it to never breakdown or need major repairs.

Engine replacements are really common. Even the example in the article shows an engine replacement in the first year or so of ownership. Pathetic. I agree with you though, cars like this should be bullet proof. I think the other exception to this exotic rule will be the $400K Lexus LFA. Toyota/Lexus are about reliability first and I think even with a supercar, Lexus will prove that reputation with LFA too. |
