Why is the caravan leaving so early if it doesnt start til 2? Just a non-morning person being curious

Well some of guys going with me live farther out... takes us a little more time to get to San Diego.. plus some ppl are leaving early too... anyway I pushed ithe time back... wanna get some more zzz's been waking up early all this week.
