It's very possible if you're using the mids in the doors the kicks would be a nice location. If you get some L3s, my suggestion is to see if you can work your way into the L3SEs. I know that they're a bit expensive but I'll tell you what, the difference between my L4 and the L4SEs was remarkable.
I'm working on the tweeter placement at this point for myself. I'm not in a hurry...yet. I'm also planning a BIG IASCA competition for next year.
